Meet the incredibly sweet Lacy! This lovely girl arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we’re still getting to know all her wonderful quirks. Based on our observations, we believe Lacy is a gentle 1-year-old Newfoundland mix. She’s a total sweetheart with a big, soft heart and acts like she’s never met a stranger, happily greeting everyone she encounters. Lacy absolutely enjoys her time outdoors, where she loves to run and enthusiastically chase after balls (though bringing them back isn’t her forte – the chase is the fun part!). She’s already shown us that she knows how to sit and eagerly accepts treats, especially when hand-fed. Lacy is also learning to walk nicely on a leash and has been relaxed and friendly around the other dogs at the shelter. Lucy did great for her exam where she weighed in at 74 lbs. and was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and is heartworm negative.
